Write note on Rhombic Sulphur?

  1. This is the most stable and common form of sulphur. 
  2. It is pale yellow solid, having specific gravity 2.06 g/cm³ and melting point 385.5K 
  3. It is insoluble in water but soluble in CS2.
  4. It is Obtained by Evaporation of Sulphur in CS2 Solution. 
  5. It Consists of S8 Molecules in which eight suphur atoms form puckered ring in crown shape. 
  6. S-S Bond length is 2.04 pm with S-S-S bond angle 107°.
